Hooked on Fishin'                 Captain Mike Locklear "put us on the fish" once again this year in the gulf waters of Homosassa, FL during FBC's September revival.  We boxed nine keeper trout (tossed back a dozen or more under-size) and three keeper Red Fish (the limit is one , but we caught and released 31 in total ranging from 18-28 inches...ran out of bait and quit...honestly!)  That puts Captain Mike at 5 for 5 on my trips to Homosassa, and makes him a mighty good fishing guide in my book.  Click here to visit Mike's website.  Above, Pastor Alan Ritter proudly displays a trout and one of his 16 Red Fish.  ME??  I don't mind dragging-up-the-rear with 15 Reds!         On the hottest NC August day of 2007, Pastor Bob Gelsthorpe of Fall Creek Baptist Church in Bennett, NC took me to his "honey hole."  We had a great time in the revival meeting as well as around the ole fishin' hole.       My son Philip and me with his 6 lb. 5 oz largemouth bass (caught in private pond on artificial bait)      Fly fishing for rainbow trout in North Pole, Alaska Pastor Troy Gourley of Cross Road Baptist Church was my host.       Captain Mike Locklear puts you on the fish on the good days AND the messy days.  These Sheep Head aren't easy to catch, but with the help of an expert guide almost anything is possible!   While preaching the Watchnight Services at First Baptist Church in Homosassa, FL Jan 2006, Henry and I were treated by FBC member, Captain Mike Locklear, to a trip out in the Gulf for Speckled Trout...and as you can see, he put us on the fish...again! (that's three for three!). No, I didn't catch them all, but I did catch enough to make my arms sore.  It was a great joy to be with them and the good folks at FBC again.  (Note this time Captain Mike has the hat!)                 When I returned in February to teach the Winter Bible Study on Nehemiah, Captian Mike Locklear put us on the fish again...and that makes it four for four!       Wanna go? www.homosassafishing.com/
