Recent Ministry
Pastor Kenny challenged Calvary Baptist Church to have 100 or more for Homecoming, and if they did, he and Sue would sing a song on Homecoming Sunday...and they did...and they did well.
 
How wonderful it was to preach revival services for Pastor John Boquist at Cardinal Baptist Church in Ruther Glen, VA! We became aquainted a number of years ago when he was Minister of Music at Calvary Baptist Church in Newport News, VA. He is now in his fifth year as pastor and doing a great job.
Our special music on Wednesday night was "Captured Hearts" from Rich Square, NC. (They also sang in our revival at Powellsville Baptist Church the week before.)They do a splendid job, and I recommend them highly for your church events. (CLICK HERE for more details.)
It was great to be with Dr. Carroll and Mrs Alma Tarkington again in revival. He is the Interim Pastor at Powellsville Baptist Church, Powellsville, NC. God has used this wonderful Christian couple for many years on the mission field and now here in the states. I also worked a revival with him last year at Merry Hill Baptist Church, Merry Hill, NC. May God continue to strengthen and use you for His glory!

I had a great time with Mark Bordeaux at Westside Baptist Church in Sumter SC for their 45th Anniversary Celebration...did a little teaching..did a little singing.
 
It was good to be with long-time friend Keith Vaughan once again at his new place of ministry, Good Hope Baptist Church in Cary, NC. God moved in a really special way in revival blessings!
It was a real joy to meet Pastor Carrol Anthony and serve alongside him at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Marshville, NC. We went with the Golden Agers to the Mexican Resturaunt...yeah, you heard me right!

In 2003, I had the privilege to preach the 200th Anniversary Message at Salem Baptist Church in Weeksville, NC. I returned in September 2005 for a revival and had a great time with Pastor Jeff Russell and all God's people at Salem. Among the many former pastors who have gone on to be with the LORD, Dr. Vancer Havner pastored Salem in 1924-25 and again in 1932-33.
